OUR INGREDIENTS
We highlight some of our carefully selected ingredients that enhance our products. Each ingredient is chosen for its benefits, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
Stearic Acid
Stearic acid is a natural fatty acid from plant sources like Coconut or Shea butter. It softens and smooths skin and hair, forming a protective barrier to lock in moisture. In cleansers, it helps remove dirt and oil without stripping natural moisture. It also improves hair manageability.
BTMS 25
BTMS-25 is a conditioning emulsifier derived from natural plant oils like Rapeseed. In skincare and haircare, it works as both a gentle conditioning agent and emulsifier, softening skin and detangling hair while locking in moisture.
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is a mild, sulfate-free surfactant derived from Coconut oil. In skincare and haircare, it creates a rich, creamy lather that gently cleanses without stripping moisture. It's ideal for sensitive skin, providing a soft, smooth after-feel while maintaining the natural moisture balance of both skin and hair.
Phytokeratin
Phytokeratin is a plant-derived protein that mimics the structure of natural keratin found in hair. In haircare, it strengthens and repairs damaged hair, enhancing elasticity and shine. It helps improve moisture retention, making hair smoother and easier to style. Additionally, Phytokeratin can provide a protective barrier against environmental damage, promoting overall hair health.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a potent antioxidant commonly derived from fruits like oranges and strawberries. In skincare, it brightens the complexion, evens out skin tone, and boosts collagen production, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also protects against environmental damage and promotes healing.
Essential Oils
Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts obtained through distillation or cold pressing. In skincare, they offer benefits such as anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, enhancing skin health and vitality. In haircare, they stimulate the scalp, strengthen hair, and provide nourishing support while adding a pleasant fragrance. Each essential oil has unique benefits, making them versatile in formulations.
Plant Wax
Candelilla wax and other plant waxes, such as Carnauba wax, are natural thickening agents derived from plant sources. In skincare, they provide a protective barrier, helping to lock in moisture while giving products a smooth texture.
Salts
Dead Sea salt and Himalayan pink salt are mineral-rich salts known for their therapeutic benefits. They exfoliate, detoxify, and improve skin texture while soothing sore muscles and reducing inflammation. Often used in baths and scrubs, they provide a relaxing experience and nourish the skin with essential minerals.
Clays
Kaolin clays, including Brazilian Yellow and Purple and Moroccan Red Rhassoul clay, are natural minerals that cleanse and exfoliate. In skincare, they absorb excess oil and unclog pores for a brighter complexion. In hair care, they cleanse the scalp, enhance texture, and reduce dandruff while nourishing and strengthening both skin and hair.
Cetyl Alcohol
Cetyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol derived from natural sources such as coconut. It works as an emollient in skincare and haircare, softening and hydrating while locking in moisture. In haircare, it helps reduce frizz and improve manageability.
Tocopherol
Tocopherol, commonly known as Vitamin E, is a powerful antioxidant derived from plant oils like Sunflower or Wheatgerm. In skincare and haircare, it protects against free radical damage, promotes healing, and helps retain moisture. Tocopherol also enhances product stability by preventing oils from oxidising, making it beneficial for maintaining freshness in formulations.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
Cocamidopropyl betaine is a gentle surfactant derived from Coconut oil. It helps cleanse skin and hair by creating a rich, foamy lather while being mild and non-irritating, making it ideal for sensitive skin. It also conditions and enhances the texture of products, leaving skin soft and hair more manageable
Panthenol
Our plant-based Panthenol, also known as provitamin B5, is derived from natural sources like plants. In skincare and haircare, it acts as a humectant, drawing moisture into the skin and hair, which helps maintain hydration. It also promotes softness and smoothness while improving the overall texture and appearance of products. Additionally, Panthenol supports hair strength, shine and reducing breakage.
Pumice Powder
Pumice powder is a finely ground volcanic rock that is often used in skincare. In exfoliating products, it provides gentle physical exfoliation, helping to remove dead skin cells and promote smoother, softer skin. It also aids in unclogging pores and can improve circulation.
Butters
Natural butters like Shea, Cocoa, Rosehip, and Coconut are rich in fatty acids and vitamins. In skincare, they deeply moisturise, nourish, and protect the skin, promoting softness and elasticity. They also help soothe irritation and support skin healing. In haircare, these butters provide hydration, reduce frizz, and enhance shine, making hair more manageable and healthy.
Epsom Salt
Epsom salt, or Magnesium Sulfate, is a natural mineral often used in bath products to soothe sore muscles, reduce inflammation, and promote relaxation. It helps detoxify the skin, improving texture and reducing swelling, making it a popular choice for soothing baths and body treatments.
Zinc Oxide
Zinc oxide is a natural mineral used in skincare for its protective and soothing properties. Additionally, Zinc Oxide helps calm irritation, promotes healing, and is often included in formulations for deodorants and products for acne-prone skin due to its anti-inflammatory effects. It provides a barrier that keeps skin hydrated and protected.
